Steve Morison missed last night’s goalless draw against Derby through illness.

The striker, 34, has been in fine form during January. He scored one of the goals of the season at Norwich before grabbing three assists in the 4-3 win over Leeds.

Morison's absence was felt as Millwall struggled to threaten Derby.

Lions boss Neil Harris said: “Steve’s got a viral infection.

“I can’t remember him missing a game through illness. He would’ve played a big role for us against Derby.

“When you're missing one of your natural leaders, you need players to step up and I thought Shaun Hutchinson as captain was outstanding.”
