Charlton boss Karl Robinson says the club haven't received any bids for star man Ricky Holmes.

The winger rejected a move to Sheffield United to sign a new three-year deal with the Addicks last summer.

But Charlton’s current failure to bring in more bodies in January could put Holmes’ future in doubt.

Robinson said: “It’s well documented [that clubs have been interested]. Some teams can get in the Premier League but things might change. It’s out of my control.

“We've not had any bids - it’s not like we’re fending off bids. We had a game today so with all due respect we were in matchday mode.

“I’ll speak to Ricky and ask what his thoughts are. We can’t speculate over it.

“I’ll ask Ricky what his thoughts are, but we’ve had no contact from other clubs. If he does go, you've got to replace him with two players.”

Holmes was an unused substitute in Charlton’s Checkatrade Trophy defeat to Oxford United on Tuesday evening.
