Lyle Taylor’s brace ended Charlton’s FA Cup adventure after the Addicks lost 3-1 to AFC Wimbledon.

Karlan Ahearne-Grant had cancelled out Cody McDonald’s opener in the first-half. But Taylor, the Dons’ best player on the day, eventually won it for his side.

Charlton leave the competition in the second round.

Here is how News Shopper rated Charlton’s players…

Ben Amos - 6 - He was partially at fault for Wimbledon’s opener but he didn't let it affect him as the game wore on.

Anfernee Dijksteel - 5 - He looked vulnerable at times when one-on-one with Andy Barcham.

Ezri Konsa - 5 - He really struggled with Lyle Taylor’s physicality, and needed to do better for the first two goals.

Naby Sarr - 6 - Similarly to Konsa, Taylor was too hot to handle for the French defender.

Jay Dasilva - 7 - Attacked very well and was so unlucky to see his deflected strike turned on to the post.

Joe Aribo - 7 - Playing in a deeper position than usual, he rarely gave the ball away and used it smartly.

Jake Forster-Caskey - 6 - He was slightly further forward than Aribo, but failed to have an impact in the final third.

Mark Marshall - 9 - His best performance in a Charlton shirt - and hopefully there will be more to come from him. He was a constant menace on the right. Man of the match.

Karlan Ahearne-Grant - 8 - Scored his second goal in as many games with a poacher-like finish. His pace troubled Wimbledon’s backline. He is growing in confidence.

Ricky Holmes - 7 - Looked as lively as ever on the wing and in the number 10 role.

Josh Magennis - 5 - Missed a sitter in the second-half which would've given the Addicks a 2-1 lead.
