Injury-time goals from Ricky Holmes and Karlan Ahearne-Grant rescued a point in a 2-2 draw with Peterborough.

The Addicks were outclassed by their promotion rivals as Gwion Edwards and Jack Marriott looked to have given Posh the three points with strikes on either side of half-time.

But Charlton dug deep to avoid defeat.

Here is how News Shopper rated Charlton’s players…

Ben Amos - 7 - Made three good saves to keep Charlton in the game.

Ezri Konsa - 7 - Looked comfortable playing at right-back - moved into the centre when Bauer was taken off.

Patrick Bauer - 6 - Hobbled off with an injury in the second-half and was nearly at fault for a Posh goal.

Naby Sarr - 5 - He really struggled with Jack Marriott’s pace and lost possession too many times.

Jay Dasilva - 7 - Offered a strong attacking threat and linked up well with Holmes.

Ahmed Kashi - 6 - His last-ditch tackle stopped Posh from adding a third.

Jake Forster-Caskey - 5 - The game passed him by and he couldn't deal with Peterborough’s energetic midfield.

Mark Marshall - 5 - Another quiet game from Marshall. It was his fourth league start in a row - he needs a rest.

Ricky Holmes - 7 - Always tried to make things happen. Charlton seemed to pass to him in the hope that he’d single-handily drag them back into the game. Charlton’s man of the match.

Josh Magennis - 5 - Playing out wide and then up top, Big Josh failed to make an impact.

Leon Best - 4 - A forgettable debut for Best, who was starved of service by his team-mates.

Subs:

Anfernee Dijksteel - 6

Karlan Ahearne-Grant - 7

Joe Aribo - 5
