Millwall have missed Jed Wallace’s unpredictability, says boss Neil Harris.

Wallace served a three-match ban after the FA refused to overturn his harsh red card against Burton.

But now, the winger is available for selection and is likely to go straight into the starting eleven when the Lions host in-form Sheffield United on Saturday.

Millwall have failed to score from open play during Wallace’s absence.

And Harris said: “It’s a huge boost to have him back in the 18 because there have been moments in games where we’ve had a great defensive shape against Sunderland, Hull and Fulham.

“We’ve been great without the ball, really solid and reliable but then the moments of quality you need, you talk about Sheffield United, they’ve got creativity in their team and so do Fulham.

“Hull and Sunderland, they’re below us in the league, but individually they have some fantastic players who can score or create goals out of nothing.

“I think we’re a very, very good team. We need to be more creative in the final third and Jed brings that unpredictability for us, but also to the opposition.

“He’s a player I’d pay money to come and watch. That’s why when the red card wasn’t overturned, as much as it was a disgraceful decision, it took him out of selection and it robbed our fans of being able to watch our most exciting player.”
