Burton edged past 10-man Millwall to drag Neil Harris’ men back into the relegation scrap.

Jed Wallace was shown a straight red card by referee Tony Harrington in the 58th minute for a late tackle on Tom Flanagan. The winger walked off without any complaints, but the decision was very harsh.

And Burton, who came to the Den for a point, took advantage just 12 minutes later as Marvin Sordell grabbed the winner.

The Lions are now five points above the drop zone.

Here is how News Shopper rated Millwall’s players...

Jordan Archer - 6 - He didn't have to make a save against a Burton side who rarely attacked.

Conor McLaughlin - 6 - Was troubled by Lloyd Dyer’s pace, and was unlucky not to clear Sordell’s goal off the line.

Shaun Hutchinson - 7 - Didn't put a foot wrong - his impressive start to the season continues.

Tony Craig - 7 - Given this was his first league start of the season, Craig was very solid at the back and comfortable on the ball.

James Meredith - 8 - He is making the left-back spot his own and put in another eye catching display.

Jed Wallace - 4 - He was very dangerous in the first-half, but his red card made life even harder for Millwall.

Ryan Tunnicliffe - 6 - Lost the ball too many times, however, his passing range was good.

George Saville - 6 - Loves to drive at the defence from midfield but couldn't make an impact.

Aiden O’Brien - 5 - Should have scored three minutes before half-time. He was hooked off just after the hour mark.

Lee Gregory - 5 - Worked hard off the ball but failed to trouble Burton’s sturdy defence.

Steve Morison - 5 - Similarly to his strike partner, he had a difficult game up front.

Subs:

Tom Elliott - 6

Ben Thompson - 5
