Former Charlton star Diego Poyet is on trial with Championship club Cardiff City.
Poyet, 22, made 20 appearances for the Addicks’ senior team before moving to West Ham.
But the midfielder struggled for game-time and was shipped out on loan to Huddersfield, MK Dons and Charlton.
His second spell at the Valley ended in relegation from the second tier, where he started just five games.

Following the cancellation of his West Ham contract last year, Poyet was most recently seen playing for Godoy Cruz. However, he left the Argentine club earlier this summer.
Now, he has been offered a Championship lifeline by Cardiff boss Neil Warnock.
The veteran manager has Aron Gunnarsson, Joe Ralls, Loic Damour and Stuart O’Keefe competing for places in central midfield.
And if Poyet, who played for the Bluebirds’ Under-23s on Monday, does enough to earn a short-term deal, he could be a good squad player for the Welsh club.
