Pardew’s side then held Everton to a 1-1 draw at Goodison Park to ensure they go into the international break eighth.
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, Arsenal’s Arsene Wenger and Tottenham chief Mauricio Pochettino have also been nominated.
Mike Phelan took home the August award after guiding recently-promoted Hull City to two wins in the opening three matches of the season.
