Millwall have agreed a fee to sign Harry Smith from Folkestone.
The striker was watching on from the directors’ box as Millwall beat Oldham Athletic 3-0 at the Den today.
And Neil Harris revealed after the dominant win that a deal to sign Smith is close.
He said: "We have agreed a fee with Folkestone for Harry Smith. Hopefully we can get a deal over the line.
"Harry’s done really well for us on trial. It’s just a question of getting it over the line – these things are never complete until they’re done.
"But he came today because he wanted to watch us play and we welcomed him to come and see us."
