Wolves have recalled Jed Wallace from his loan spell at Millwall.

The Championship club exercised a clause in the loan deal to take him back to Molineux after spending two months at Millwall.

The winger, 21, excelled in south London, making 14 appearances as the Lions maintained their push for promotion.

Millwall manager Neil Harris said: “Jed is a terrific young man.

“He has made a fantastic contribution since joining us and I thank him for his efforts.

“He is an exceptional talent and we have really enjoyed having him as part of our group for the last few months.

“It is a shame that he is heading back earlier than we hoped but we appreciate that he can return to Molineux and have a major impact for the rest of the season at Wolves.”
