Millwall were held to a 0-0 draw by ten-man Wigan at the Den on Tuesday night.
The Lions failed to make their numerical advantage count after Sam Morsy was sent off ten minutes before half-time.
Neil Harris’s side pressed the Latics throughout but some fine saves from Jussi Jaaskelainen ensured the shares were spoiled.
The results sees Millwall remain fifth in League One, eight points from an automatic play-off position.
On Saturday Millwall return to the Den as Blackpool make the trip to South Bermondsey.
