Swansea are leading the race to sign Crystal Palace striker Dwight Gayle, according to reports.
Several Premier League clubs are weighing up a move for Gayle, 26, who has fallen out of favour at Selhurst Park.
The former Peterborough star, who has scored 12 league goals for Palace, has only made 10 appearances this season and has been strongly linked with a January move.
Bournemouth and Bristol City have signalled an interest in Gayle, but Sky Sports report that Swansea lead the pack hoping to secure his signature.
If Gayle joins Swansea, who are 15th in the league after a difficult run which saw Gary Monk sacked as manager, Bafetimbi Gomis would be expected to leave the Liberty Stadium.
Palace bought Gayle from Peterborough in a club-record £6m deal but the striker has failed to establish himself in the top flight.
