Charlton Athletic fans have reacted with fury at the meeting between supporters and club officials.
A group of supporters were invited to the Valley to begin a dialogue with members of the club’s hierarchy, including chief executive Katrien Meire and non-executive chairman Richard Murray.
However, rather than serving as a positive step, many fans reacted with indignation to several of Meire’s comments.
Stories from the evening will be available to view on newsshopper.co.uk/sport from 12pm tomorrow.
Meanwhile, here’s how Charlton fans reacted on Twitter to the meeting:
What's unacceptable is the contempt shown by owner & CEO alike towards fans airing views about regime that's had 5 managers in 18 mths #cafc

Sad to read yet more disharmony as a result of KM. What is happening to my club? #cafc is unrecognisable from the club I love

Not surprised by the meeting with fans tonight, lack of empathy one of many failings of the current regime. Rule 1 understand the fans #cafc

Even if she was offended by the protest, why did she take a picture? As a momento of when she was really insulted? #cafc #insanity

Flabbergasted. Insulting the fans even more. #cafc #pointlessmeeting

That meeting is completely unbelievable from KM, some ridiculous statements there. #cafc

Once again I feel angry, worried and worst of all empty. How long is this going to continue? I want my Charlton back 😢 #Cafc

Some please tell me what they expected to hear out of the meeting tonight? #cafc
— Stephen Barnes (@BigSleep36) November 10, 2015
