Guy Luzon accepts Charlton might have to look elsewhere if Championship rivals Wolves decide to keep hold of long-term target James Henry.

The former Millwall winger has been strongly linked with a return to south-east London this summer with Charlton, although Molineux chief Kenny Jackett said earlier this week Henry is still firmly in his first team plans.

That news came as a blow to the Addicks and although they haven’t completely given up on getting the deal done, head coach Luzon admits they might now have to look at alternative options.

“He is not the only player in the world that we can sign,” the Valley boss said.

“If he is staying at Wolves it is OK, we will sign another one.

“If it is still possible (to sign Henry) OK, but if not we will continue on.”
