Last season’s ground-breaking partnership with Prostate Cancer UK has been recognised at a national awards ceremony.
The football club and charity both won the ‘best business - charity partnership’ category at the Institute of Fundraising Awards on Monday night.
The Prostate Cancer UK logo has become a familiar sight at The Den after the men's cancer charity became the Lions’ principal shirt partner in 2013/14.
Millwall chief executive Andy Ambler said: “I am delighted for Prostate Cancer UK, they have been fantastic to work with over the last 12 months.
“It is a great honour for our football club to be recognised in this way but this is not the end of the relationship.
“We will continue to work in conjunction with Prostate Cancer UK in an effort to reach as many football fans as possible to raise both funds and awareness of this terrible disease.”
