I would like to say that with the recent weekend snowfall how happy I was to see children and parents playing in the snow.
How nice it was to see that many people actually cleared their driveways, apart from the half dozen or so inconsiderate people who on clearing their drives actually piled the snow onto the footpath, thereby causing an obstruction.
Surely this is illegal? Where are the community police when we need them?
This was also the case last year. This means pedestrians have to walk on already restricted roads, which is dangerous.
The particular area I speak of is in the small circle of Spring Gardens, Kings Road, Sonnet Walk and Melody Road in Biggin Hill, which is where I walk my dog on a daily basis. Sadly to say this is also a dog poo walk.
On one occasion I counted more than 30 droppings including nine on the grass, which is kept so nice by the residents of Sonnet Walk.
I myself am a pensioner with two recently replaced hips but I still manage to pick up after my dog. Maybe they should use CCTV vans to catch some of these inconsiderate people.
I for one would welcome it.
