I RECENTLY had to send my doctor's surgery an update of my five-year-old's immunisation injections and was amazed to hear we still have to travel to Erith or Bexleyheath if our children or babies need their jabs.
We used to have a very nice health visitor who was available at the beginning of every month, either at the doctor's surgery or at a clinic behind the town hall in Crayford.
She has now left and I find it ridiculous there is not one nurse or health visitor available to provide this service for families in Crayford.
It is tough to get to the Erith clinic because of roadworks and the car park there is a joke.
I hate to think how other mothers cope with having to use public transport.
