The Swanley, Crockenhill and Hextable branches of the Royal British Legion would like to thank all the collectors, shops, offices, schools, churches and, last but not least, the public who supported us during the Poppy Appeal fortnight in November 2005.
The total taken for tins during that period was £16,475. This, together with wreaths sold, donations and the Pedal to Paris event, amounts to £21,327 for this year so far.
Without all that help we would not be able to carry out our duties with regard to all ex-service perosnnel and their dependents.
So thank you once again.
Mrs J Allen, Poppy Appeal organiser
