I WAS pleased to see the success of Bromley schools reported in the News Shopper last week (Inspectors Praise Top Schools, January 19).
However, your article did not make it clear it was Darrick Wood Infant School which was listed in the Ofsted list of England's particularly successful schools and colleges.
It is one of the 234 schools and 80 primary schools which have appeared twice on the list after being judged to be particularly successful during both of its inspections over the last twelve years.
We are extremely proud to be included in the Ofsted honours list.
The staff, parents, governors and the pupils themselves have been dedicated and have worked hard over the last ten years. This recognition is well-deserved.
