I wonder if I am the only person who seems to suffer with this?

When the refuse collectors have emptied my green recycling paper box or the brown recycling bin, they seem to be incapable of placing them back in the same position.

We have been given strict orders from the council about where to leave such bins but the refuse collectors seem to think it's okay to leave these bulky items in the middle of the gateway.

This means it is in the way of the postman, paper boy/girl or whoever wants to get to my front door.

If someone was to trip over the boxes and hurt themselves, no doubt I could be sued as the accident would have happened on my property.

I have phoned the council several times about it and it, no doubt, has passed on the instructions to the contractors.

However, the refuse collectors seem to lack the mental ability to be able to put these instructions into operation. What is the sense in leaving recycling boxes in the middle of gateways or pathways?

It's not exactly rocket science is it? Do they not realise there might be a disabled or elderly person living in the property who might find it difficult to move the items?

The council wants us to recycle and I am an advocate of that but I now refuse to recycle my refuse all my rubbish from now on will be put in black sacks.
