Will having ID cards help solve any problems in the world today? And this is not my only question.

What happens if you lose or have your ID card stolen? What will be the cost and how easy will it be to get a replacement? What will you then have to do to prove you are who your say you are?

With all information now stored on computers, who will be able to access this information? It will not take long before they will be forged.

False passports, driving licences, birth certificates and credit cards have proved easily obtainable for the criminals already.

Forging ID cards will just present another challenge for them, one they will readily accept. Most people have some from of identification on them but in the event of a disaster, it may be destroyed anyway.

Who would want the responsibility of having this information readily on their person at all times? I am sure most people would be only too happy to make this available if needed.
