I am sorry to hear of the loss of Mrs Harris's pets, but I do wonder how the fox was able to get to them in the first place? Were they secured in a fox-proof cage?
The fox is a wild animal and is not acting in a malicious manner, merely looking for his food. This will be taken from easily accessible sources if he can do it.
I fully support the ban of fox hunting with dogs.
There may be many foxes in the cities but there are also far more people and cars than is healthy or comfortable. Do we start culling people too?
So please don't attack animals which cannot stand up for themselves. They have as much right to walk this earth as we do.
Once we start living in harmony with our planet perhaps then we may have more right to pick on other creatures who also live here but do less damage.
