Calling all Women of the Second World War.
For my University Dissertation I am writing about how the Second World War affected the lives of women in Britain.
I am looking at their jobs as civilians and in the military and focusing on how they coped with rationing and utility clothing.
If you have any stories of this time which you would be willing to share with me could you please kindly write them down and send them to Louise, 66 Grove Road, Chichester, West Sussex, PO19 8AP.
My grandmother was in the ATS (Auxiliary Territorial Service) during the war as a mechanic and driver but due to Alzheimer's disease she can no longer share her stories.
I would love to include real-life accounts from the time in my dissertation.
My number is 07740 194 037.
