News Shopper should be ashamed, printing such a scathing and insulting letter directed against senior citizens, who supposedly take up valuable space in shopping centres.
If these remarks were made against the ethnic minority groups you would think twice before publishing.
I hope that you will get many letters regarding this. Perhaps we will all get a reward of a paltry pen for our efforts.
Maybe the letter writer will consider shopping at a 24-hour outlet at MIDNIGHT to avoid the Blue Rinse Brigade.
We were all once working families, and most of our shopping was done in our lunch break.
No large superstores and shopping centres in those days.
