In regard to Pensioners Clog Up My Weekends, I would like to express my disgust at this letter! What exactly was rewarded?
The sentiment asks for a curfew on over 65s from daily life over the weekends. That this should be rewarded.
Substitute any range of humans eg. the blind, the Irish, the Jews, oh and maybe the blacks and the jibe becomes apparent.
It encourages ghettoization of the vulnerable and as a newspapaer you have the gall to support this sentiment
