In regard to the letter Blue Rinse Brigade Clogging Up Shops, how dare this person have the nerve to say people over 65 years of age should not go shopping on Saturday.
Many of the people this person finds so annoying fought and nearly died to give this person the right to even go to a shopping mall.
Old age is a burden enough without being told we are just a nuisance on a Saturday.
Many go out because they are lonely and loneliness does not always come Monday to Friday.
I suggest Mr/Mrs anonymous go to the Cenotaph on Sunday and tells the war veterans they are not welcome in shopping centres on Saturdays.
I'm sure he/she will hear a few home truths.
I do hope the writer of the letter wears their poppy with pride.
