RE: ANIMAL fur (He Says/She Says, February 18).
Having read Rupert Smythe's view, words don't exactly fail me but there is not much point in trying to speak for the animals to someone who wears his ignorance on his sleeve trimmed with fur, of course.
If Rupert didn't learn anything in the 80s, he will not learn now because he doesn't want to.
When our primal ancestors began to wear fur they had very little choice.
Rupert's argument is so ridiculous it seems to be more of a wind-up. Or is he really that stupid?
