ARE foxes getting too bold? I have always been on the side of the fox and regularly feed them leftovers. I love to see them basking in the sun on my lawn — but is there a more sinister side to them?
Two neighbours witnessed foxes grabbing kittens and small cats. One hefty tom was seriously injured and a kitten was killed. My own tom has been missing for a week Foxes are becoming so confident they are peering through cat flaps, walking into living rooms and climbing through windows and seem not the least worried when confronted by humans. Fox appreciation/protection societies say foxes rarely or never attack cats. What have other News Shopper readers experienced?
I am curious to know what has happened to my cat. Have the foxes bitten the hand which feeds them?
