THE latest plans regarding the NHS is threatening the very existence of our GP practices.

In the case of the London Borough of Bromley, the number of people over 65 is very high and it is this age range which is dependent on seeing their own doctor on a regular basis.

If polyclinics come into being, with say 50 GPs covering the day on a shift system, the chance of seeing the same doctor is impossible.

As much pressure as possible must be put on the Government to modify its proposals so our GP surgeries can remain, to continue offering the excellent services they do at the moment.
