I AM writing about my concern over the cash crisis at the Greenwich Chinese Community School.
As I am a student at the school, I am worried about this.
It must not close as it has an immense cultural value which is at the centre of the community.
The school has also taught me a lot about my language and it has brought many families together.
If it closed, it would be a disappointment to many people.
This school has been very successful- it started with 11 children in 1981 and there are nearly 500 today.
The closure of this school would have an impact on many people.
Parents can contribute a certain amount of money, but some of them cannot afford to do this.
I think people should be invited to the festival held every year so they can see how good the work is.
In 2003, the school also won an award for its community work in the Queen's Golden Jubilee Awards.
I hope this letter will show people how important this school is.
