I would like to express my gratitude and appreciation to all the people who helped me when I fell down in the Broadway, near the pedestrian crossing at Asda on the morning of October 3, particularly the two police officers who looked after me so well until the ambulance came with such a professional crew.
I would also wish to thank all the staff at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for the effective treatment they supplied; the NHS is, indeed, a wonderful institution of which we should be proud.
