I would like to thank the kind person who found my Waitrose hessian shopping bag at the bus stop at Bromley High Street outside The British Heart Foundation on Tuesday, September 4 and handed it into the shop.
I absent-mindedly left it on the seat as I rushed to get on my bus and didn't notice it, as I had other bags, until I got off the bus at my stop.
When I got home I phoned the Heart Foundation shop just by chance and was told it had been handed in.
You have restored my faith in human nature and I cannot thank you enough.
It wasn't the monetary value but the sentimental value, so thank you so much once again. Whoever you are I do hope you see this letter.
Jean Finney, Bromley
