Letter to the editor: Readers who want to put pressure on the council to re-instate the Danson Festival should write to our Conservative MP and let him know they will not be voting for him in May unless the council reverses its decision to cancel the festival.
During the last council elections, most of the UKIP candidates that made a good effort to campaign got elected but the ones that didn’t let the Conservatives walk into control of the council.
David Evennett is the Conservative MP for Bexleyheath and Crayford.
The best way to put pressure on our Conservative-controlled Bexleyheath council is to put pressure on our Conservative MP.
Please write to David Evennett and let him know that unless the Conservative council re-instates the Danson Festival, he will not get your vote.
