The bench at the centre of the health and safety argument
Letter to the editor: I cannot believe the attitude of these jobsworths over a senior couple whose only pleasure in life is sitting on that bench (Benchnarked, September 17).
I would like to know how many fires there have been there in the 14 years they have been using it.
It must be great to sit in an office all day and think up these silly little rules.
I am disabled, so I know what it is like when people start putting restrictions on your routines.
Life is difficult enough, but these people do not care.
Anyway, good luck and hope they see sense eventually.
