Letter to the editor: I refer to an email sent to you on the August 1, 2014 regarding my abstaining in the vote for councillor reduction from three to two and my reasons for it. I note that it was not printed.
The email was sent from my personal email address and I wondered if that was somehow connected to it not being printed?I did supply my address.
I mention political bias because I constantly see letters printed when it comes to Conservative and Labour councillors. Some of them getting front page news.
UKIP in Bexley did very well regards the number of votes and I am sure you do not need reminding that it won the national EU elections. Please could you acknowledge that the political spectrum is changing and report in a more balanced and fair way?
COUNCILLOR LYNN SMITH, Blackfen and Lamorbey ward
