Letter to the editor: Bexley Council has recently sent out letters about changes to the way we register to vote.
The letter is misleading as there is nothing changing, in effect the council is simply asking for our permission to sell on our details to any Tom, Dick or Harry who may want to buy them.
To say no, you have to email the council, assuming you have access to email.
If not, you have to write – at your expense – to tell it you do not want to be on the “open register”.
Come on Bexley, treat us with more respect.
John Godsall, Bexley
