Residents and staff at RMBI Home Prince George Duke of Kent Court in Chislehurst held their biggest ever outside event – a huge Victorian tea party.

More than 100 people - residents, their families and friends - attended the event, many of them having dressed up in Victorian style finery.

Guests enjoyed live music, dancing and a wonderful afternoon tea complete with crustless cucumber sandwiches.

The event was sponsored by The Association of Friends of Prince George Duke of Kent, a local group which raises funds to support fun events and entertainment for the home’s residents.

Activities co-ordinator Sue Goodrich, said: "It was a wonderful afternoon for our residents and their families with everyone having a lot of fun, enjoying the live music and fantastic food. It was our biggest outdoor event ever and we’re delighted that so many people could join us.”
