The popular Knockholt Beer Festival will celebrate its fifth year on September 8, at the Knockholt Village Centre from 12.30pm until 10pm.

At just £3.50 a pint the local craft beers and ciders offered are superb value and not to be missed.

The selection is curated by local brewing expert Chris Cheeseman, aka The Craft Beer Man, and now head brewer at the Oak Tavern’s Microbrewery.

Entry to the festival is free, and live music from a selection of local artists will also be adding to the fun atmosphere.

Wine and soft drinks are also available at this friendly event which children are welcome to attend with their families.

Local caterers Happy Mother Cluckers will be there, offering top quality rotisserie chicken dishes for hungry drinkers to purchase. Second-hand books and a selection of artwork by Emily Hinchcliffe will also be on sale.

A spokesperson for the Knockholt Carnival Charities Committee, which runs the event to raise money for local good causes, said “We are thrilled with how the Knockholt Beer Festival has thrived since its inception five years ago.

"It is a fantastic way to start the autumn and the atmosphere is always fun and friendly. We are very grateful to our sponsors MJ Rooney Construction and to the volunteers who make this event such a success.”
