Eltham College sixth form student Kemi Afolayan has been selected to represent England Netball U17 on their upcoming tour to Australia in September 2018.
She was invited to take part in the England Netball U17 summer camp from which 12 athletes were selected to represent their country.
On tour the squad will be based at the Australian Institute of Sport and take part in a number of matches against U17 teams from both Australia and New Zealand.
Kemi currently plays in the U19 Netball Performance League (NPL) for London Pulse U19, who were crowned 2018 league champions, and plays her club netball for Academy Netball Club who play in the Premier League 1.
She plays in defensive positions and is a key member of the Eltham College netball team who are current U19 Kent County Champions.
