A care provider in the Royal Borough of Greenwich has won an award for being innovative.

Bluebird Care, based in William Barefoot Drive, scooped the Franchise Award for Innovation in the workingmums.co.uk Top Franchise Awards recently.

The award acknowledges those who have continued to evolve and develop.

Bluebird Care Greenwich Managing Director, Anoop Sekhon, said: "We are continually investing in innovation and technology to support our customers, staff and the development of the Bluebird Care businesses.

The PASSsystem was developed to improve the care planning and notes system and offers real time information to the local care team providing care, and to authorised family members, carers and friends.

This improves the quality of care our business can provide, by fully addressing and reacting to the needs of our customers as they happen."

Bluebird Care was up against Diddi Dance dance group, Creation Station arts and crafts class, Tatty Bumpkin yoga and Bright & Beautiful housekeeping.

Bluebird Care is a provider of care in the home. They specialise in working with customers who suffer from dementia, physical and learning disabilities, and work alongside their families, social services and clinical commissioning groups to ensure each person receives the care they need.
