Hebe Grace del Rio was crowned Downe May queen.
It was lovely day in the village of Downe, with the May Queen and her entourage dancing round the Maypole and singing springtime songs in the church.
With Morris dancers, a hog roast, and the traditional tea and cakes in the village hall, a lovely afternoon. And we raised over £300 for Westfalia Orphange in Peru.
