PANTOMIME stars will let their wigs down at a party to raise money for charities.

Cast members from Aladdin, this year’s panto at the Churchill Theatre in Bromley, will be at a Monster Mash party at St Mary's Church in nearby College Road on January 2.

The disco is organised by Simon Thompson and Rob Martil, who are raising money for three charities through a series of fundraing events, including running the Virgin London Marathon on April 17.

Money raised from the Monster Mash will go to Cancer Research, Wateraid and the Starfish Malawi Project, which supports schools in Malawi in Africa.

Mr Thompson, aged 38, of Highland Road in Bromley, said: “The total we are aiming to achieve is £4,500, with £2,000 for Cancer Research, £1,500 for Wateraid, and £1,000 for the Starfish Malawi Project. ”
