The Brits Awards always promises to create some of the most iconic and unforgettable moments from award show history.

And ahead of the 2022 BRITS Awards tonight, we've looked at the past shows to recall the most embarrassing and awkward moments. 

Betfair Casino conducted research that let fans vote for their favourite most embarrassing moments at the Brits to date.

From Madonna's fall to Sam Fox and Mick Fleetwood's hosting efforts, see the most embarrassing moments. 

BRITS Awards most embarrassing moments:

At number one is the Queen of Pop herself, Madonna tripping over her cape and falling on stage mid-performance back in 2015, which is arguably the most iconic moment too. 

Spot two goes to Sam Fox and Mick Fleetwood hosting in 1986 when the pair missed cues, had awkward exchanged and even announced the wrong winners. 

Next up is the unforgettable moment was when Jarvis Cocker of Pulp flashed during Michael Jackson’s performance in 1996.

Adele takes the next spot when back in 2012 she flipped the bird after James Cordon was forced to cut her off mid-speech. 

In 2010 Liam Gallagher threw his microphone and trophy giving him spot five on the list. 

Former host Jack Whitehall gets spot six for his inappropriate dad joke after Little Mix's performance in 2019. 

At spot seven is Ant and Dec after their failed attempt to take a selfie with Kim Kardashian in 2015. 

Noel Gallagher takes spot eight after he called Micahel Hutchence a 'has-been' in 1996. 

Last on the list for most embarrassing moments is from the Arctic Monkeys when they were cut off for criticizing the BRITS during their winning speech in 2009.
