THE makers behind a Bafta and Golden Globe winning TV drama are looking for extras to star in the latest series.

Work is underway on season three of Netflix's The Crown. Filming is set to take place at Caernarfon Castle and Aberystwyth next month.

Casting agency Extra People are now looking for people based across North Wales to be background extras when filming takes place at Caernarfon Castle.

The Crown depicts the history of the English Monarchy.

The series will feature Olivia Colman, who has replaced Claire Foy as Queen Elizabeth.

Extra People's Tom Walker said: "This is an exciting opportunity to be part of one of the worlds biggest TV series. We are looking for people aged 16-80 to be background extras in scenes we are filming in and around North Wales, notably Caernarfon.

"This is a period drama set in the 1960’s so its important we get people with the right look. By that I mean, hair length and style.

"We are looking for reliable, punctual and professional people to take part. The days can be long, but exciting. The pay can range from £110-£175 per day, depending on overtime. All food is provided during filming.

"We welcome all to apply."
