Plans to turn a disused building into a new bar on Deptford High Street have been submitted to Lewisham Council.
The application is for 37 Deptford High Street, a currently empty lot that used to to be the home of a Subway.
Isla Ray, the name of the proposed new establishment, is aimed to be a cross between a bar and a cafe with food available to eat as early as 9am and drinks served until 11pm.
Rachael Dalton-Loveland, from Isla Ray, said: "A simple brunch/lunch menu will be offered during the daytime, as well as a snack/sharing menu in the evenings. Coffee, cocktails, beer and wine are also to be expected.
"It will be a very informal atmosphere where patrons can relax for long periods of time. There will also be a small courtyard out the back for those sunny days."
If the plans are approved, Ms Dalton-Loveland said they plan to open Isla Ray in early Spring 2018.
An older application to turn the building into a café/restaurant were rejected by Lewisham Council on June 15 this year.
The reason was because the old plans failed to provide all the details of ventilation and rubbish storage.
