A 28-YEAR-OLD man who verbally and physically abused ambulance staff has been jailed for two months.
Baffour Amankwatia, of Harcourt Road, Brockley, was found guilty of threatening behaviour under the public order act at Woolwich Crown Court on February 11.
Amankwatia had called the London Ambulance Service at around 4.40pm on December 9 last year complaining of pain to his legs and back.
But when the ambulance crew arrived he became aggressive, swearing and waving around a walking stick.
He was previously given a three month community service sentence but had pursued an appeal which was rejected by Woolwich Crown Court, resulting in his two month imprisonment.
