A Sidcup nursery has celebrated its 50th birthday showing how it’s good to keep it in the family.
The Premier Lodge Day Nursery in Station Road marked its golden anniversary with music, entertainers, face paints and a bouncy castle.

Even the Bexley mayor, Eileen Pallen, popped along to grab something from the BBQ - much to the delight of pupils, parents and staff.
The mayor presents plaque to Cassandra Grice and mum Ann Grice in honour of family founder Jeanne Hamilton
The owner and granddaughter of the nursery’s founder, Cassandra Grice, was thrilled to dedicate a plaque in honour of her grandmum Mrs Jeanne Hamilton - who established the nursery in 1966 - alongside her mum and previous owner Ann Grice.
By the end of the day the play school also managed to raise more than £300 for the Demelza House Children's Charity.
