If you are planning on seeing any fireworks this weekend, you may want to check National Rail before starting your journey.

Engineering works may impact your plans as no trains will be running from Cannon Street.

Here's a full breakdown of how the timetables will run during the works.

On Saturday, a service will run every half hour London Charing Cross and Hayes. A half hourly train service will also run between New Cross and Hayes.

On Sunday, trains will not run. Other train services will be available between London Charing Cross and Lewisham and buses will run between Lewisham and Hayes.

Services will be change to run between New Cross and Dartford, calling at all stations via Woolwich Arsenal line.

Buses will run between New Cross and Charlton, calling at Deptford, Greenwich, Maze Hill and Westcombe Park.

However, to get to New Cross, you need to use London Underground services from London Cannon Street to London Charing Cross and change for a Southeastern service to New Cross.

Trains will not run between Cannon Street and Orpington but trains will be going between London Charing Cross and Orpington. Your ticket will be ok on underground services between London Cannon Street and London Charing Cross.

If you are travelling between Lewisham and Hither Green you will have to use either 225 or 273 buses.
