Owners of a veterinary surgery are looking to expand their business by opening a new centre in Green Street Green.

A planning application has been sent to Bromley Council to change the use of a beauty salon into a vet centre.

Sui Generis, on 61 High Street Green Street Green, is the location for the proposal.

Ashmore Veterinary Centre currently operates from number 59 Green Street Green.

It now wants another building to provide a dog and cat ward, a consultation room, an office and staff area and washing facilities.

A spokesperson for the veterinary said the plans would “facilitate the expansion of our growing veterinary business”.

The statement continued: “We started the business in May 2013 in 59 High Street, and since then it has grown from strength to strength offering a tailored service to the local community as well as clients from further afield.

“We have been made to feel very welcome by the local residents of the village and want to continue the growth of the business in to 61 High Street.”

The number of staff would not change if plans are accepted with workers being spread out to have a larger site to work from.

Ashmore Veterinary Centre has been contacted for more information.
