The number of new Covid-19 cases has once again increased in every single borough in south east London following Boris Johnson's announcement to delay the planned June 21 unlocking.
Infection rates are continuing to creep up, and with the variant now reportedly responsible for 90% of new virus cases, local health leaders will be monitoring the figures very closely in the lead up to July 19.
On Monday, Boris Johnson announced a four week delay to the lifting of lockdown restrictions, moving the date back from June 21 to July 19.
In the latest weekly update of Covid-19 case rates, 283 (90%) of local areas in England have seen a rise in cases.
The figures, accurate for the seven days up until June 11 (the most recent data is excluded for accuracy), are based on the number of people who have tested positive for Covid-19 in either a lab-reported or rapid lateral flow test.
The coronavirus rate is expressed as the number of new cases per 100,000 people.
And the highest infection rate in south east London currently belongs to Southwark, creeping steadily upwards to 100.
The borough's rate has increased from 66.8 last week to 89.1 this week after 284 new virus cases were reported.
Lewisham's infection rate is currently 63.4, up from 41.9 last week, with 194 new cases were recorded.
Close behind is Greenwich with 57.7, up from 42.4 after 166 cases were found.
In Bromley the infection rate has increased slightly from 46.0 to 51.2 with 170 new cases.
Bexley currently has the lowest Covid-19 rate in south east London at 36.7, with 91 new cases resulting in a rise from 23.8
Of the 315 local areas in England, 283 (90%) have seen a rise in rates, 28 (9%) have seen a fall and four are unchanged.
Blackburn with Darwen in Lancashire continues to have the highest rate, with 890 new cases in the seven days to June 11 - the equivalent of 594.5 cases per 100,000 people.
This is up slightly from 559.8 in the seven days to June 4.
Ribble Valley in Lancashire has the second highest rate, up from 244.7 to 477.9, with 291 new cases.
Hyndburn - also in Lancashire - has the third highest, up from 275.2 to 446.7, with 362 new cases.
The list has been calculated by the PA news agency based on Public Health England data published on June 15 on the Government's coronavirus dashboard.
